How bizzare. I discovered to day that I accidently forgot my pocket knife inside my hand bag. That means, I took it with me to the airplane, the ethiopian airlines two airplanes. And this is after they double checked all of my belongings, and had large signs everywhere telling no one should have knives with him getting on the plane. Wait a minute, why blaming Ethiopian??? The security people in the new "Ben Gurion" terminal didnt say a word about it either. You need to understand, this is not a small pocket knife, it's quite large and can cut a man throught by a single hit. So what's going on??? I thought the security people learned the 11th of september lesson, but apperantly they didnt. This knife could put me in a lot of trouble, and I am mad about myself forgeting it inside my hand bag, but... god, Israeli security... what the fuck??? How come they didnt say anything? Are they waiting to the next "mechdal" or what?
Anyway, back to my trip... I arrived to Chaing May this morning and I cant wait for my course to begin. I hope it will be fun. I'm on my way now to the Chiang May big night bazzar. I already bought a small buddha painting... I dont even know if I will hang it or if my girlfriend will like it, but it's really nice and it cost just ten shekels, so I couldnt resist the temptation. I am not planning to buy anything special but if I'll see something that I really like and it will be cheap I'll buy it. Because, when will be the next time I'll be here? maybe never... who knows.
I am quite alone. It doesnt bother me a lot although I could enjoy some company. I hope I'll meet nice people tomorrow, I dont want to be all alone for the whole two weeks here.
I like Thai people and the Thai culture. I have a lot to write about them, I'll do it some other time.
Bye for now
