Sawasdee !!! That's "hello" in Thai, to all of you

I just returned from "Beit Habad", from the kabalat shabat they did there. Finally I got to see a lot of israelies... Hummm well, in a second thought I can do without them right now. It's nice to speak Hebrew and all but... When I was among them I felt as a stranger again. I participated in the prayer, something that I never do in Israel. But it's just not me. I'm ot religious. There's something very appealing in this feeling of togetherness and "kdusha", but I'm not into this right now. The food was tasty, though. Since I arrived to Thailand I've been eating just Thai food, which is great, but it was noce to have a little taste of home... "thina, matbuha, salat hatzilim" etc.

I finished the first week of my course. It was a nice day today. most of the people will stay for the next week.

I like them, at least most of them. I'll write a little about some of them, they deserve it

Andrea, a Brazilian woman in her late 30's who lives in Ibiza, spain. She has an impressive well built body, she's tall and has a brown sun-tanned skin. She was my first massage partner. We were doing great together - both of us gave each other a lot of input, of what we are doing right and wrong. Besides, she's a very positive person who look at the bright side of life, it's fun to be around her.

holger and his girlfriend, both of them from Germany. He's a nice guy, good looking and quiet. He seems to be a good person. His girlfriend is originally from Thailand, but she grew up in Germany.

Ashira, the only Israeli in the course. Acctualy she's not from my course, she did the advanced training course. She's a very special person. Only 22 years old, she looks older and it seems that she managed to do a lot in her life, more than a lot of other people I know. She travelled all around the world, she has all sorts of talents and it seems she's squeezing the most out of life. I should learn from her how to do that. I find it hard to believe she is so young, she has a lot of confidence in herself and people look up to her. Maybe we'll all hear about her in the future.

Amanda, a young woman from scotland. I like to hear her eanglish rolling, with her scotish accent.

Philip and his girlfriend, I think they are from Belgium. Two of the nicest people I met in Chiang May.

Brent from Canada. He's a tall man, in his mid 40's. He lives in a boat, , diving for his food and travelling around the world when he can. Everybody love Brant, and it's no wonder. He has a short gray her that gives him a mature "father" look, and at the same time he has a childish face and  smile with a pair of shining curious eyes. He also has a lot of interesting stories about his life and travels, it's always interesting to hear what he says.

Andrian and Beth. Both of them from the usa. A pair that looks like two flower children from the 60's. They have a very special point of view about life, about people and about the world in general. They belive in the words of the Dali lahma, and I learned quit a lot from talking to them. I certainly do not agree with all they have to say, and we had some arguments, but it was a real pleasure knowing them. As Ashira, they also did the advanced course and finished it this week.

Hmmm... There are a lot more but I dont remember their names acctually. I hope to know a little more abut them next week.

Well. tomorrow I am going to do a walking tour in the city and take some pictures. I didnt really take a lot of pictures, and there's a lot to photo here.
